New-patient calls are the ones most likely to hit voicemail
The new-patient call that hits your voicemail during lunch is calling the practice down the street before your front desk gets back.
Your team is already slammed with patients in the chair. The phone doesn't know that — it just rings, and rings, and eventually stops.

A quick typed preview — no phone needed. It's a taste, not the finished product.
What your missed calls are costing you
Drag these to match your shop. It's rough math, on purpose — nobody trusts a calculator that pretends to know your business better than you do.

Why dental / ortho practices trust it on the phone
No HIPAA claim and no signed BAA today, so we won't call it HIPAA-anything. No dental profile is built yet either, and I'm not going to pretend the lunch-rush call already has one. The plan is for that call to get only what's needed for the new-patient request and stay off diagnoses and treatment plans entirely. Today, a new patient calling at lunch reaches the same nothing your voicemail does — this is the plan, not the phone. Recordings and transcripts are stored privately, not public.
Positioned as after-hours and lunch-hour coverage, not a replacement for your front desk — it doesn't try to be the clinical voice of the practice.
No improvised answers on insurance or treatment questions. It takes down the question and a callback number rather than guessing.
It asks a new patient the basics during the call itself — who they are, what they're calling about in general terms, how to reach them — instead of leaving them to a voicemail beep at lunch hour.
Questions dental / ortho practices ask
Is it a robot?+
Yes — and the reason that matters is that it's built to answer at 1pm during the lunch rush and at 7pm after you've locked up, which is exactly when a new-patient call is most likely to go to voicemail today. It says so if a patient asks. No pretending. Judge it for yourself at dialkeep.ai/demo, not on our word.
Patients expect to talk to our staff, not a bot.+
Most of the time they do, and they will — this covers the gaps, not the front desk. Lunch hour, after hours, the call that comes in while the front desk is helping someone at the counter. When something needs a real person, it says so on the call and takes down the details instead of guessing; it isn't trying to replace the team you already trust.
Can it handle insurance questions without giving out wrong information?+
It doesn't try to answer insurance or clinical questions — that's a deliberate limit, not a gap. It takes down the question and a callback number instead of guessing, because a wrong insurance answer is worse than no answer. Ask it a coverage question in the demo at dialkeep.ai/demo and see exactly what it does instead of guessing.
Is this HIPAA-safe?+
No, and we're not going to tell you otherwise. We haven't signed a business associate agreement with anyone in the call path, and we don't claim HIPAA compliance. Recordings and transcripts are kept private, not public, and nothing about a patient gets shared or sold. If HIPAA compliance is a hard requirement for your practice today, this isn't there yet. No dental profile is built yet either, and if one ships, the plan is a request that gets only what's needed and nothing about diagnoses or treatment plans. Today, nothing here is doing any of that for a dental practice — that's a different gap than the HIPAA one above, and just as real.
We already have Weave / a bundled system.+
Weave's a solid platform if you're using the full suite — hardware, reminders, reviews. Their pricing page publishes one number, 'starting from $199 per month', with the named plans behind a quote form — so the published floor is the same as ours; the difference is that you're buying a platform to get the phone answered. This is $199 for the phone-answering part on its own, no hardware upsell. And it isn't a generic script — it's set up on your practice: your typical new-patient questions, what it must never discuss. When it gets something wrong, your team tells us and we change the setup.
What happens when it can't answer a question?+
It takes down the question and a callback number rather than guessing at anything clinical or financial. When it gets something wrong, your team tells us and we change its setup — a person updating your configuration, not the software teaching itself.
